Sunday Savings Series: Another Not-So-Scary Option

I have a bit of a pumpkin fish obsession…

There have been a lot of questions about where to trick or treat lately. If you’re looking at Walt Disney World and don’t have tickets for Boo Bash, you’re out of luck. There is another place where kids 12 and under can trick or treat. Since it’s an affordable option I thought that I’d include it as part of my Sunday Savings Series.

If you’re looking for a day outside of Walt Disney World and the kids want candy, consider buying a ticket for SeaWorld Orlando. Right now you can enjoy SeaWorld Spooktacular. All of the fun is included in your theme park admission. In addition to trick or treating, there are characters, a pumpkin fish garden, a dance party, and more. It’s a really cute event, and there is nothing scary about it. It takes place on Saturdays and Sundays through Halloween.

The adults in your party can also have some fun. Craft Beer Festival is taking place right now as well. It’s held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through October 31. It’s kind of similar to an Epcot festival in that there are different food and drink booths set up throughout the park.

It is always a good idea to look online if you plan to visit SeaWorld instead of buying your tickets at the gate. There can be substantial savings. Currently there is a deal where you can buy a one-day ticket and include all day dining for $89.99. You can eat once per hour all day long, restrictions apply. You could easily spend more than that on food alone at Walt Disney World in one day. This offer runs through September 26.

If you want something that’s a bit scarier, buy a ticket for Howl-O-Scream. This is the experience’s first year at SeaWorld Orlando, and there is a long-running version at Busch Gardens Tampa. Howl-O-Scream is a separate ticketed event, and it’s cheaper than Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort.
