If you have reservations at a Walt Disney World resort hotel and have tickets linked to your account, you are now able to reserve your days in the new Park Pass system. Here’s the link for reservations.
From what I’ve been able to find out, the launch at 7:00 this morning was filled with long waits and technical glitches. I’m not surprised, whenever something new is announced there ends up being technical problems on the Walt Disney World website. There were also issues for some people on the number of days that they could reserve.
Annual Passholders like me can make reservations starting on Friday. Those with tickets that aren’t Annual Passes and don’t have resort reservations can make Park Pass reservations on July 28.
The reservation calendar can be found here. Make sure you look under Disney Resort Guests, because the other option isn’t live yet. If you still can’t see it, try a different browser, that worked for me. Just because it looks like a date is available doesn’t mean that there is still something open. Right now, the Park Pass system is expected to be used until at least September 26 of next year.
There is one thing that you need to keep in mind when trying to make reservations. Capacity is extremely limited right now. If things go smoothly when the parks reopen and people follow the rules, more spots will most likely open up.
A couple of tips about trying to get reservations, from past experience. Make sure that you are logged into your My Disney Experience Account before you try to get a place in line. You might want to try from a computer, because the My Disney Experience App can be glitchy. If you can only use your phone, go directly to the website, skip the app. And be patient. I would love to know who was able to get reservations, so I am going to open comments on this post. If I end up with too many spam comments (you wouldn’t believe some of the junk that people used to try to add here), I’ll shut them off. Update: that didn’t last long. I’ve turned off comments.
