Update: It looks like Universal is the only large park who will submit their plans tomorrow. SeaWorld is reportedly submitting their plan on Friday, with hopes of a June opening.
This afternoon representatives from Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld Orlando were part of a roundtable discussion. It included Vice President Mike Pence and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. During the discussion it was announced that the major theme parks will deliver their reopening plans to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force tomorrow (May 21). The perspective openings dates will be included in the reopening plans. (Source WFTV.com)
It is then up to Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings to sign off on the plans. He will then present them to Governor DeSantis.
We are one step closer to knowing something my friends! The meeting will begin at 2:00, and Mayor Demings has said that it could take several hours. I will let you know what happens.
