This picture is from my first trip to Walt Disney World Lately I have been spending a lot of time dreaming about the future. My daughter asked me the other day what the first thing is that I want to do when the parks reopen. I told her that I want to get up early and get Boarding Passes for Rise of the Resistance. She liked that idea. I think that since we live so close to the parks we put a lot of things on the back burner, just because we can go whenever. We end up taking so much for granted. We didn’t realize how important these things are to us until we can’t do them.
I also right now am dreaming about what the future will look like once this has all passed. Although no announcements have been made, I’m sure that there will be some changes to the projects at Walt Disney World. We might not get everything that we were told is coming. You know what? I’m okay with that.
I fell in love with Walt Disney World at first sight, but not because of a specific ride or experience. I fell in love with it because it is “the most magical place on Earth”. Even if some projects are scrapped, the magic will still be there. Remember your first glimpse of Cinderella Castle? That’s Disney magic, and it will be out in full force once the parks are open again.
