A Sneak Peek Inside Woody’s Lunch Box

A lot has been said about the two new rides that are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios when Toy Story Land opens on June 30. There is also a counter service restaurant that will open that day. Some of the details are starting to be released about the new eatery.

Woody’s Lunch Box will be a walk up location. The story behind it is that Andy wanted a place for his toys to be able to go to eat, so he propped up his Woody’s Roundup lunch box and held it open with the thermos. There does not appear to be any indoor seating, but it looks like there will be tables in the area.

All three meals will be served at Woody’s Lunch Box. They will also accept the Disney Dining Plan. The full menu has not yet been released, but some of the dishes have been mentioned on the Disney Parks Blog.

For breakfast, it looks like one of the main items will be a Breakfast Bowl. This will feature scrambled eggs, potatoes, and gravy. S’more French Toast Breakfast Sandwich will also be available. It’s meant to remind you of the campfires that you attended as a child. French toast will have marshmallow and chocolate squished in the middle. Filling out the memories will be graham cracker crumbles on top. It sounds like it will be a hit! The sandwich Smoked Turkey, Eggs, Swiss, Peppers, and Onions on Sourdough will also be served at breakfast.

When the menu changes over to lunch and dinner, there will be more sandwiches. They will feature new twists on items that you might have found in your own lunch box when you were a child. BBQ Brisket Melt was created in honor of Sheriff Woody, while Monte Cristo with Raspberry Jam adds a sweet twist to a classic sandwich. Another item for lunch and dinner will be Totchos; think of taters and nachos. There will also be sides such as vegetable macaroni salad, and Mini Babybel will be sold. They are the official Snack Cheese of Walt Disney World.

What lunch box is complete without something sweet? At Woody’s Lunch Box, you’ll be able to order two Pop-Tart like creations. They will be Chocolate-Hazelnut Lunch Box Tart garnished with Icing and Caramelized Bacon, and Raspberry Lunch Box Tart garnished with Icing and Dried Fruit. Banana Split Yogurt Parfait will be another sweet choice.

Finally, Walt Disney World has great plans for beverages at Woody’s Lunch Box. If the S’more French Toast Breakfast Sandwich didn’t take you back to your childhood, the Soda Floats will! The signature drink for all ages will be called Mystic Portal Punch – Powerade Mountain Berry Blast. Order it in a souvenir Alien Sipper. If you decide that you want to adult for a little while, try the Grown-Up’s Lemonade Cocktail. It will be made with Odwalla Lemonade, black cherry puree, and cherry vodka. Other beverages, including beer and hard cider, will also be served.
