If you’re a thrill ride fan you will want to check out Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. It’s the only roller coaster at Walt Disney World that goes upside down. There are three inversions total, two loops and one corkscrew. You won’t know that they’re coming, though, because the ride is in the dark. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is also known for the launch. You’ll hit almost 60 miles per hour in less than three seconds. The thrill continues for well over a minute. You’ll experience a G-force of five along the way, as the music of Aerosmith plays in your ears.
Part of the fun takes place before you board. You’ll be touring the G-Force Records recording studio, where Aerosmith is recording. The band’s manager informs them that they’re late for a concert. Steven Tyler then suggests backstage passes for all those watching. A “super stretch” limo is ordered, which is your ride vehicle. In the next area you’ll be able to watch as a few other cars take off, adding to the anticipation.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith has a height requirement of 48 inches or taller. Read the warnings if you have a medical condition, and it is not recommended for expectant mothers. If you are prone to motion sickness, you might want to skip it. There is a single rider line.
