Special Room Rates Released

Stay in the middle of the magic, and save!

Two special deals on rooms have been released. The dates for both of these deals go through Christmas Day. If you are eligible and are thinking about taking a trip, consider working with a Travel Agent who specializes in Disney. If you don’t know of such a TA, drop me a note and I can point you in the right direction. There is no Travel Agent associated with Disney Over 50, so I am not making anything off of the recommendation.

The first deal is for Florida Residents. If you live in the Sunshine State you can receive a discount of up to 35%! The discounts are as follows: Value Resorts up to 25%, Moderate up to 30%, and Deluxe and Deluxe Villas up to 35%. Remember that the discounted rooms could be limited, so book sooner rather than later. Restrictions apply.

The second deal is for residents of certain states. They are Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. If you live in one of those states, you are eligible for a discount of up to 30%! The discounts are as follows: Campgrounds up to 15%, Value Resorts up to 20%, Moderate up to 25%, and Deluxe and Deluxe Villas up to 30%. Again, the number of discounted rooms could be limited, and restrictions apply.

The states for the second offer at first seem a bit random, but I don’t think that they really are. They are all states that are within driving distance of Central Florida. Granted, some of those drives are long, but many people like the idea of driving rather than flying right now. Even if flying, they are short flights. The tourism industry is hurting in Florida right now, and the second offer is to encourage people to take advantage of the low wait times and the safe-as-possible environment. I know many people who have visited Walt Disney World from out of state since the reopening who have said that it was their best vacation here ever. If you take advantage of the discount, you just might say the same thing.
