- [Ten Second Tip: All Day Locker Rental](https://disneyover50.com/2026/01/05/ten-second-tip-all-day-locker-rental/): When you rent a locker at Walt Disney World, it is yours for the day. You can open and close it as many times as you want. Don’t forget to clear it out at the end of the day. Lockers are emptied after the park closes, so your stuff won’t be there the next morning if you forget it. If you do forget, fill out a form for lost and found. You should be able to get your things back.

The same is not true if you rent a locker. If you rent a locker and then go to a different park, you’ll need to pay for a second rental. Your locker from the first park is not transferable.

- [Ten Second Tip: Visiting a Resort on New Year’s Eve](https://disneyover50.com/2025/12/29/ten-second-tip-visiting-a-resort-on-new-years-eve/): If you hope to get a peek at the New Year’s Eve fireworks at a resort, you might want to try to get a dinner reservation. On special evenings, Disney will often restrict some resorts to those who are staying there and those with dining reservations. This includes guests who use Walt Disney World transportation. Visiting a resort without a reservation might be possible, but don’t be disappointed if you’re turned away. As always, please be kind to the Cast Members if that happens. They’re just doing their jobs.

Even with three parking garages and surface parking, spots may be hard to come by, especially in the evening. It’s recommended that you arrive at least an hour early if you have a dinner reservation. Disney Springs will be packed, so pack your patience! And, as always, be nice to the Cast Members. They’re just as frustrated as you are, they just can’t show it.

We now know when the new experience will open; well, sort of. Soarin’ Across America will debut at Disney California Adventure on July 2, 2026. The Epcot version is a little bit trickier. It will open, according to Disney, “by Memorial Day 2026”. Memorial Day will be May 25, so it will probably be that weekend. No closing date for Soarin’ Across the World on either coast has been announced, but it should be an easy switch.

That isn’t the case during the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. The park still opens at 9:00, but it closes at 9:30. This is in part because of the length of the Candlelight Processional. During the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Luminous The Symphony of Us closes Epcot’s evening at 9:30 instead of the normal 9:00. As always, double check times before heading out.
