We are not even close to having a date for the opening of the Tron Lightcycle Coaster at the Magic Kingdom. That said, you can feel like you are getting ready to ride! There are ride vehicles on display in Tomorrowland, and you can try them for yourself. The ride is supposed to be similar […]
I recently mentioned the Four Park Challenge on the Disney Over 50 Facebook page. One member of our community said that she will always hit all four parks on the last day of her vacation. I love this idea! It gives you a chance to see everything one more time, and you will really make […]
I have seen a rumor in several places about the 2020 dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The rumor states that the first party will be held on August 13, which would be the earliest ever! While this rumor very well may be true, I haven’t seen anything official yet. As soon as I do, […]
It may be too late to make plans to ring in 2020 at Walt Disney World, but here’s the midnight schedule anyway. After all, it’s not too early to make plans to ring in 2021! Magic Kingdom will have Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 11:50pm. Epcot will show Epcot Forever at 11:40pm. (Next year […]
Need New Year’s Eve plans? Do you wish that you could ring in 2020 at the Magic Kingdom, but you also don’t want to leave the comfort of your living room? Walt Disney World has given us the perfect solution. Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks is going to be carried live. The show is scheduled […]
One of my favorite parts of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade. If you didn’t make it to the party this year, or if you want to see the parade again, you can. Weather permitting, it will run twice daily at the Magic Kingdom, now through December 31.
Last summer Disney added a new twist to one of the Disney After Hours events. They introduced Disney Villains After Hours. The special ticketed event allowed a very limited number of Magic Kingdom guests to party like a bad guy. There were short lines, free ice cream novelties, popcorn, and soft drinks, and “evil” (by […]
Time is running out of you plan to attend the 2019 version of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. As I write this, tickets are still available for December 17, 19, and 20. The final party of the season is December 22, but that has been sold out for a while.
A couple of days ago I told you that the hours for Disney’s Hollywood Studios had been revised so that the park would officially open earlier. I mentioned then that I had a feeling that the hours for Christmas Week would soon change as well. I was right. I figure that this is as good […]
Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Mad Tea Party, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor all have special enhancements for this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Check them out! My favorite was Space Mountain. I always love it when they change the theme, and this made it feel like a totally different ride.
