Thanksgiving celebrations are going to look different this year. Many people will not be visiting family and friends because of coronavirus concerns. Disney has given us a way that we can all feel closer together, even when we’re miles apart. The Wonderful World Of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration will air that evening on ABC! It will be shown at 9:00, 8:00 central. No matter where you are, you and your loved ones can watch the show “together”.
According to Disney Parks Blog, the show will be hosted by Derek and Julianne Hough, with Trevor Jackson taking over the hosting duties from Walt Disney World. The prerecorded show will feature performances from Ciera, Kelly Clarkson, and many others.
We’ve also been promised two exciting sneak peeks. The first will give us a glimpse at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which will open at Epcot sometime next year. The second is a preview of Soul, which will skip the theaters and premier on Disney+ on Christmas Day.
This is the fifth year for The Wonderful World Of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration. I think that this year it’s more important than ever. 2020 has been hard for everyone, and it will be nice to experience some extra Disney magic on Thanksgiving, no matter where you are.
