Disney Gift Cards are great, at least in most cases… If you’re due to receive a refund, Disney is going to return it to whatever card you made your payment with. This could be for something small, such as Park Hopper that isn’t happening, or larger, such as a cruise. Many people pay with Disney Gift Cards that they bought at a discount. The refund will be returned to the gift card, so make sure that you can afford to do it that way. I’ve heard many complaints the past few months from people who suddenly have thousands of dollars on gift cards, even though they would rather have received a check. Don’t be caught off guard.
