Disney Park Pass and Resort Booking News

Disney Park Pass is not going away in the near future

There are two pieces of news that I want to share with you today. They kind of go hand in hand. One many will consider good news and the other really is not so good.

I’ll start with the not so good news. The Disney Park Pass System has been extended. You can now book dates through January 14, 2022. While that is good news for people who like to plan, for those of us who like to wing things a bit I guess that won’t be happening for a while. I have no idea what this means for Park Hopper. I know that several Cast Members claim that Park Hopper could return as early as January, 2021, but until the official word comes from Disney I will take that as a rumor. Whenever I post something important like that as fact, I’ll cite the source. Often it is from Disney Parks Blog or the Disney Parks Twitter account.

Now for the good news. If you’re looking to book a Disney Resort hotel for the end of next year, those dates are now open! You can book stays that start all the way through December 31, 2021. Checkout dates go through January 26, 2022. If you aren’t used to the system, I suggest booking through a travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations. A travel agent will keep an eye out for potential discounts that may be offered in the future. The best part is that working with a travel agent will not cost you anything extra. If you don’t know who to contact, let me know. I can give you a recommendation.
