No one eats like Gaston…

More theme park restaurants are reopening soon at Walt Disney World! Disney Parks Blog has announced that there are soon going to be more options at both the Magic Kingdom and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

I’ll start with the Magic Kingdom. Cinderella’s Royal Table is going to reopen on September 24! It is not going to be a character meal for the time being, much like there aren’t any characters at the moment at Chef Mickey’s. You’ll still enjoy a feast that’s fit for a king, or for a princess. You will need to make a reservation, starting on September 11. Pricing has not been announced. Lunch and dinner will be served, it doesn’t look like breakfast will be an option. Update: the price will be $62 for each adult, and $37 for each child ages three through nine.

Also at the Magic Kingdom, you will soon be able to get your cinnamon roll fix. Gaston’s Tavern is going to reopen on September 4! This will be a welcome addition, since breakfast-type offerings have been lacking since the park reopened.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Minnie and her friends will soon be dressing up in their Halloween costumes once again. Minnie’s Seasonal Dining is returning to Hollywood & Vine! The first date will be September 25, but you can make reservations starting on September 11. This will be a character meal, although you will see the characters from a safe distance. Food will be brought to your table instead of there being a buffet. Both lunch and dinner will be served. Breakfast with Disney Junior friends is not going to be available.

In October, one of my personal favorite quick service locations is going to reopen. ABC Commissary will start serving lunch on October 8. It does not look like dinner will be available, but in October the park closes at 7:00, so you might want to enjoy a late lunch and then have dinner after the park is closed.

It’s nice to see that some favorite restaurants will soon be welcoming guests once again. Everything right now is one step at a time, and this is a step in the right direction.
