A Few Notes About Food & Wine Merchandise

When Epcot reopened to the public, there were several places to buy festival merchandise around World Showcase. The merch sold was for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Currently, Disney is running the Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, so how about merchandise for that? There is news.

On August 26, I was hosted for a media preview. I thought that I would share a few tidbits with you. Here are some highlights.

The Food & Wine merchandise is going to be available starting on September 1. Not everything will be sold that day, but the majority of it will be.

There are four different collections for the Food & Wine merchandise. They are Chef Figment, Eat Around the World, Chef Minnie, and Annual Passholder. There will be four different Dooney and Bourke bags, one of which is a Passholder exclusive.

If you can’t get to Epcot, you do not need to miss out. A lot of this year’s merchandise will also be sold on ShopDisney.com. You can also access it through the My Disney Experience App, which will take you to ShopDisney.com. Not everything will be sold online, but the selection will be larger than at past festivals.

I’ve mentioned before that there are food booths in the park that are marked as “Coming this fall”. There still is not an official opening date for those yet. I was told that they expect to open “sometime next month”.

Just a reminder, it’s a TASTE of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. It is not the full festival. A full festival would not be safe right now, so Disney has found a way to let us still enjoy it and socially distance at the same time. I think they’re doing a great job.
