The Food & Wine Festival WILL take place!

I have some good news to share about the 2020 version of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. It IS going to take place this year! It will begin on July 15, which is the date that EPCOT reopens to the public.

Officially it’s going to be called A Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. It will be scaled back, but there will still be 20 Global Marketplaces. Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak will return. Sadly, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series will not take place. Instead, the America Gardens Theater will host other popular acts associated with the park, including Mariachi Cobre and the JAMMitors. This will allow you to be entertained and not have to worry about standing in a crowd.

For those who missed the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, the Remy topiary will be displayed during the Food & Wine Festival. The merchandise from this year’s Flower & Garden Festival will be sold during A Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, so maybe I’ll be able to get those Orange Bird Ears after all! There will also be Food & Wine merchandise for sale at some point, but that will come a bit later.

While this isn’t the Food & Wine Festival that we’ve seen in the past, it’s still going to be a lot of fun. When I learn more details, I’ll be happy to share them here. Disney has also announced that they will evaluate the situation before making any decisions on the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, including the Candlelight Processional. I hope that they find a way to hold it, while keeping everyone safe.
