World of Disney will reopen on May 27!!!

As you probably know by now, many third party owned locations will reopen at Disney Springs on May 20. More news has been released. On Wednesday, May 27, three Disney owned locations will open as well! They are World of Disney, D-Luxe Burger, and Marketplace Co-op.

Disney has also released more details on what we can expect with the reopening. Guests will park in the Orange or Lime Garages. If the garages are full, you will not be allowed to park elsewhere, even if you having a dining reservation. The dining fee will be waived if you miss your reservation because you couldn’t park. Rideshare drop-offs will also be allowed. Temperatures will be checked upon arrival, and anyone who has a temperature above 100.4 will be turned away.

Face coverings will be required for all Cast Members, and for all guests who are three years old or older. Face coverings will not be available for sale. The only time face coverings can be removed is when dining. Guests without masks or other face coverings will be turned away.

There will be physical barriers throughout Disney Springs to help promote social distancing. Some areas will become one way. There will also be signs to instruct guests where to go so that crowds will not gather. Cast Members will have been trained to help with this when needed.

Guests are also asked to not use cash if possible. Disney Gift Cards, credit or debit cards, and mobile wallets such as Apple Pay will be accepted. Mobile ordering will be required at D-Luxe Burger.

Cleanliness and sanitation will be more important than ever once Disney Springs reopens. There will be stations for hand sanitizing, and guests will be encouraged to frequently wash their hands. Cast Members will increase cleaning, including wiping down handrails and other areas that are touched a lot.
