Take a Sneak Peek at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is not expected to begin operations until sometime in 2021, but we now have an easy way to learn more information (and get excited). You can learn more for yourself on the Walt Disney World website. You can find the page that is dedicated to this new experience here.

What we do know about Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is that it is going to be unlike any other experiences that are currently offered at Walt Disney World. Think of it more as a cruise than a trip to the theme parks. This will not be your normal vacation, where you make your FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance and try to get a reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table. This is instead an immersive experience where you will be in the middle of a Star Wars themed adventure.

With Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, you will spend two nights on the Halcyon. Everything will make you feel as if you are traveling through space, from your view out the window to the transportation to your excursion. (Fortunately, they will have the artificial gravity turned on.) Speaking of your excursion, your trip will take you to the planet of Batuu, where you’ll spend time in Black Spire Outpost. Much of what you do will be aboard the ship, though. You’ll be able to train with a lightsaber, join secret meetings, and dine on interplanetary delights.

Reservations for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will open later this year. Even though the experience is expected to have a high price tag, I don’t doubt that the spots will go fast. You can learn more by watching the video below.
