Disney Villains After Hours Is About to Get Even Better

Cinderella Castle received a makeover for the event

Last summer Disney added a new twist to one of the Disney After Hours events. They introduced Disney Villains After Hours. The special ticketed event allowed a very limited number of Magic Kingdom guests to party like a bad guy. There were short lines, free ice cream novelties, popcorn, and soft drinks, and “evil” (by Disney standards) enhancements throughout the park.

Pirates of the Caribbean is a must-ride

Disney Villains After Hours only ran ten times last summer, and tickets were hard to come by. I told you back in October that the fun event is returning in February. This time it will be for 24 nights! When Disney Villains After Hours returns, it is going to be even more fun.

Maleficent is being joined by friends!

One of my favorite parts of Disney Villains After Hours was Maleficent. We got to experience her in all her fire-breathing glory. Maleficent will return this time around, but she will have some friends with her. (Do villains really have friends?) It will be called the Villains Cursed Caravan, and it will feature Captain Hook, Cruella DeVil, Gaston, Oogie Boogie, and more. This is not a meet and greet (there are no greetings at the event), but it will still be a fun way to see some of your favorites.

Villains Unite the Night stage show

Disney Villains After Hours will also feature new foods and beverages for sale. Villains Unite the Night will return to the stage in front of Cinderella Castle. There will be special PhotoPass opportunities, a dance party, and enhancements to both Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain. Tickets for Disney Villains After Hours can be purchased here. You’ll save $10 if you don’t wait until the day of. There are also discounts for DVC members and Annual Passholders.
