Happy Hallowishes is not returning

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will start its 2019 run on August 16, and when it returns there will be something different. A new fireworks show is going to debut this year. The new show will feature projections, as well as fireworks.

In the new show, you’ll watch Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as they head out trick or treating. Of course not everything will go according to plan, but I’m sure that it will all work out in the end.

Happy Hallowishes ran for 14 years, and it will certainly be missed. Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade will be back, and the song is already stuck in my head. Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular will return as well. There will also be trick or treating and the characters that make Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party so much fun.

While I’ll miss Happy Hallowishes, I’m excited to see what Disney comes up with for the new display. The Imagineers never fail to amaze me.
