My Christmas Must-Do: Magic Kingdom Version

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is so much fun

I’ve been having a great time telling you what I think you need to do this busy Christmas Week at Walt Disney World. I’ve already covered Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Disney Springs. Since it’s Christmas Day as I post this, I want to hit the Magic Kingdom.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade can now be seen in the daylight!

There are two must-dos at the Magic Kingdom this year. The first is Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. This is the parade that takes place during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and it is now running daily through December 31. There are two parades each day; noon and 3:30. You’ll want to grab a spot early, especially if you want to watch along Main Street, U.S.A. Please don’t be one of those people who will push in front of others at the last minute and steal their view, although I know that none of my readers would do that.

Holiday Wishes is phenomenal

The second must-do is also from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Holiday Wishes – Celebrate the Spirit of the Season will run at 10:00 each night until December 29. This will replace Happily Ever After, which will return on January 1. December 30 and 31 it will be Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks, which if you’re there either of those days is also a must-do.
